What It Does

Stripes reproduces the swooshing, jet-like sweep of classic analog phasers. Inspired by MXR Phase 90, it uses cascaded all-pass filters to create moving notches that give your sound motion and dimension.

It ranges from subtle shimmer to deep, resonant sweeps, depending on your settings.

Features

  • 4, 6, or 8 stage phasing for different notch depths
  • Script/Block mode toggle (smooth vs. resonant character). "Script" and "Block" refers to the two different versions of MXR Phase 90, which had a script and block letters logo on them, respectively.
  • Sine or triangle LFO waveforms
  • Stereo width mode with phase offset
  • Speed, Depth, Feedback, and Mix controls
  • VST3 + CLAP formats
  • macOS (Intel + Apple Silicon), Windows, Linux

Sound

  • Script mode: Smooth, subtle phase shifting
  • Block mode: Aggressive, resonant sweep with midrange push
  • More stages: Deeper, more complex notches
